webMOBI recommended on-site setup for badge printing with Printer Share

webMOBI recommends the following steps to print the badges with any Canon printers:

webMOBI leverages the printer share software to print via wifi and Bluetooth. With printer share, the printing of the badges can be done from several different device types as listed below.  webMOBI has procured bulk license once setup please contact support@webmobi.com for setting up the premium account for bulk printing badges. 

Download the Canon Printer Application

Following steps are to be done before printing the badges from the application:

1.Setup the Canon printer as it mentioned in the http://ij.start.canon for your particular one.

2.Installation of canon printer to devices:

          2.a  Connect the canon printer with computer - You need a connection setup for each computer. Proceed the step 1for each computer.

                  2.a.1 Start the setup file for either method A and B

A. Download from the Internet

        1.open the web browser in your computer

        2. Input the following URL and access the Canon website. 

http://ij.start.canon

        3. Select Setup

        4. Input the model name of your printer

          5. Click setup.

          6. Click Download and download the setup file.

          7. Execute the Downloaded file.

B. Using Setup CD-ROM (Windows only)

1. Load the setup CD-ROM in your computer.
   

• While using windows10 or Windows8.1:
  

          2.  Click the file explorer on the taskbar

          3.  Double-click the CD-ROM icon on the right side of the window and if the contents of the CD-ROM appear, double click Msetup4.exe.

          4.   If the User Account Control dialog box appears, click YES

• While using Windows7
  

5. When the AutoPlay screen appears, click Run Msetup4.exe.

6. If the User Account Control dialog box appears click Continue.

2.a.2. Click Setup

Now the connection with your computer is now complete. You can print it from your computer.

2.b Connecting the computer with the smartphones(Android/iOS) and    tablets:

 1. Install the application software Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY in your smartphone.

  IOS:           Search “Canon PRINT” in App store.

  Android:   Search “Canon PRINT” in Google play.

2.Printing with Wireless Direct

You can connect devices (e.g. smartphone or tablet) to the printer by two methods below.

• Wireless connection (connecting devices via a wireless router)
  

• Direct wireless connection (connecting devices using Wireless Direct)
  

This section describes Wireless Direct, which allows you to print by connecting the devices to the printer directly.

Follow the procedure below to use Wireless Direct.

1. Enable Wireless Direct.
   
2. Connect devices to the printer.
   
3. Perform a printing operation.

1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
   

2. Press the Direct button.
   

  3.The Direct lamp lights up.

The Wireless Direct is enabled and a device can be connected to the printer wirelessly.

Connecting the Mobile Device via Wi-Fi:

1.Turn on wireless communication on your device.

[Enable "Wi-Fi" on your device's "Setting" menu.]

Select "XXXXXX-TS300 series" ("XXXXXX" represents the last six digits of the printer's MAC address.) from the list displayed on the device.

• If the "XXXXXX-TS300 series" does not appear on the list, Wireless Direct is not enabled.

2. Enter password.
   

Your device is connected to the printer.

Note

• You can check the printer's password by printing the network setting information.
  

• Printing Network Settings
  
• Depending on the device you are using, entering the password is required to connect a device to the printer via wireless LAN. Enter the password specified for the printer.
  

3. Perform a printing operation.

Install the Print share application to get access to any type of printer. (Verify here http://www.printershare.com/help-mobile-supported.sdf?device=iphone&group=Epson)

Once you installed the application in your devices (android/ios) it will start to access the nearby printers. Various printers can be accessed.

For example consider the CANON PRINTS to print your documents from the application, Install the CANON PRINTER Inkjet/SELPHY from Google play store for Android/ Appstore for iOS.

Install the application in your device and connect it through wireless:

Check whether the PRINTER WI-FI is ON or OFF. Connect the printer through Wi-Fi to your device. Once it is done the printer is connected to your device wireless and you can able to perform the print operation.

Open the webMobi application. Here Webmobi as the feature to take the print of the document through print share using your Wireless. 

Once you entered into the admin panel you can be able to see the Bulk Print option. And Check Whether the print option is enabled or not. If not, Enable the option to take the print of Ticket.

Once you are done click/select the ticket you want to print. 

Now select the printer through print share that displays on the device which connected to your device Wirelessly.

Thus the printer starts to print the document/ticket you selected. Another feature also mentioned below as the user can able to print the PDF document directly from the webMobi application once he finished the installation of printer application on their devices.

And webMobi allows the user to take the PDF document form the application. You can perform it directly by selecting the application you installed in the device as mentioned above, and it shows on the display when you select the particular document.
